Atlantica

Atlantica is the largest aqua park in Cesenatico, an enchanting northern resort of the Riviera Romagnola. Situated a short distance from the sea front, it gathers exciting water chutes, heated swimming pools and large relaxation areas. It is the ideal destination for those interested in spending alternative seaside holidays here. Atlantica is situated few hundred metres far from Cesenatico's beaches, and can be easily reached on foot or by bike from the city centre.

Altantica extends over a total surface of 100.000 square metres, and includes 42.000 square metres of green areas and 5.700 square metres of heated swimming pools (28 degree water ). The symbol of the park is a big whale: the water of the swimming pools reaches the whale's belly, and then flows across a funny path to be covered onboard special rubber dinghies.

Apart from water chutes and swimming pools, Atlantica also gathers plenty of further excellent facilities and equipment. It hosts several refreshment booths, wide relaxation areas provided with beach umbrellas and mattresses and lush green areas. Furthermore, it gathers a wide amusement arcade for the lovers of videogames, a large entertainment area, some sports courts and dedicated areas provided with showers, changing rooms and lockers. Atlantica Aqua Park attracts both families with children and people belonging to different age groups. Large relaxation areas, targeted children's attractions and exciting water chutes are able to suit even visitors' most demanding requirements. Atlantica is dominated by a large Wave Pool featuring high artificial waves whose atoll is often the venue for the parks' major entertainment activities and events.

Not to be missed are the exciting Onda Lunga Anaconda high water chutes, which reach the swimming pool after numerous twists and turns. The most daring ones should try Onda Pazza Kamikaze and Onda Plano Shuttle, the latter being a steep water chute to be covered onboard a bobsleigh. Upon arrival, people will experience the sensation of gliding into water.
