Predappio is a lovely town that develops amidst the sweet hills that rise south of Forlì. It is famous all over Italy as the native town of Benito Mussolini, who was born there in 1883. Predappio's hotels and guest houses give tourists the possibility to spend pleasant holidays here.
The city is scattered with plenty of sumptuous palaces and buildings dating back to the period of the city's reconstruction, which was commissioned by the Fascist regime after the terrible landslides that occurred in the winter of 1923. The cosy hamlet of Predappio Alta is dominated by the impressive Feudal castle, which still retains its original aspect and is open to the general public.
